Customer Reviews & Ratings
We came here for lunch. The service was superb. The waitress was very kind and answered questions I had regarding their menu. She even opened the ramune for me. Perfect for lunch and dinner. The restaurant itself had an intimate atmosphere.
From the ramen to the sushi, it was all fantastic! Cute little place with attentive staff. Will definitely come back to try more.
Finally a ramen spot in Simi. And fortunately, it's decent and the whole fam likes the food too. Not a large menu, but not a bad thing. The ramen is decent, spicy beef wasn't too spicy. They also serve sushi, teriyaki, fried rice, and rice bowls. Haven't had the katsu yet. Service is good (shoutout Nathan, an old friend's nephew), ordered takeout before too and it was securely packaged.
Not sure what the 1 and 2 star reviewers are smoking, but I don't want it. It seems like many of them are IV dripped instant noodles at home. The ramen is great and has a great flavor, never had a situation of contamination or undercooked food. I'm a regular here. I've been going to this restaurant ever since June of 2024. The ambiance, service, and quality of food has all significantly improved. The servers are very kind. So, yeah, the bad reviews are just a bunch of whining children who nitpick common issues, or mistakes at a restaurant.
Such good ramen without having to drive to LA! The broth is so flavorful and bold and the variety is great! We also ordered the house fried rice and it was delicious with lots of meat in it. The place is really cool inside with small tables and a large table with communal seating also. Service was super friendly and attentive. So glad to have this place here in town. We will definitely be back.
Good food, service good Love their tonkotsu ramen, and the chicken karage Will come back for sure
We are pleasantly surprised to find such an Asian gem in Simi. It really felt like a ramen shop you'd find in Gardena or San Gabriel Valley. Food: Very tasty menu, lots to choose from and they servings are quite large. The chicken katsu rice meal was very large, but fried well and the vegetables complement it well. The ramen we selected were tasty, hot, and filling. I loved the pork and think it's the best in the 805. It has a nice texture on the outside that you don't get with other ramen shops pork slices. And I loved their sweet tea. Very odd to have an Asian restaurant serve quality sweet tea, but it's a win for me. My only ding here would be no offering of kid's menu or portions. Service: Very friendly and attentive staff. We came in around 7pm on a weeknight and it was packed. But we were lucky to get seated quickly. Our food came out quickly and the staff checked on us regularly. Ambiance: Despite it being a small restaurant, the decor and energy felt traditional in a sense to how a ramen shop would be in L.A. on a busy evening. You are going to be seated near other customers and may have to share a large table with strangers. But the food is good and service is welcoming and quick. You will get seated before you know it. Tip: don't come in large groups if you want to be seated together. Most tables fit 2-4 people.
Great Food! Amazing spicy beef ramen served here, amazing appetizers, everything was top shelf. Iced tea was wonderful, cold and very refreshing. Recommended this place to my son's friends and they loved it as well. Been here twice, second visit tried the Sukiyaki Beef Rice Bowl, that was amazing and we will definitely return. It's going to be a mission to try most of their menu over time, so far everything has been wonderful. The place was clean, their service was pretty decent, and those two things alone help make me a fan these days. It's nice to find a new restaurant that has their act together, hopefully things will keep getting better all the time.
I was visiting from San Diego and my cousins took me to this ramen spot. Coming from an area that has a ton of top tier ramen joints, I might have higher standards. Overall, for Simi valley this spot was pretty good but pretty pricey from what I'm used to. We tried the classic ramen and garlic truffle ramen, we would recommend the garlic truffle one for a lot more flavor. The pork was actually impressively tender and flavorful, so I'll give that! The eel avocado roll and takoyaki balls were also decent. We had a few team members tend to us and everyone was really nice. I think they forgot I ordered a beer so I had to ask for it again but they apologized and immediately brought it over. Again, for Simi I can see why my cousin likes going here! I'd be down to return in a future visit to try other ramens
